ULTIMATE SCREEN is the most advanced movie screen successfully joint- developed by Efun and RealD since ten years ago. This screen is made of multi layer coatings on a highest class optical substrate. It has good resistance of oxidation to maintain its reflectivity. The special metal coating on the surface make it suitable for 2D and 3D movies screen application to provide world's highest image brightness and stereo contrast. In actual measurement, it is with two times brightness compares to the available current 3D screen. It also can eliminate the issue of image cross talk to provide five times three-dimensional contrast than that of the existing 3D movie screen. Figures 1, 2 and 3 are the comparisons of the gain, full spectrum reflectivity and circular polarized contrast between Ultimate Screen and other high-end 3D screens to demonstrate the leading competence in all competitors. At present, the screens have been installed in more than 500 cinema halls around the world (Figure 4; a 13-meter-high, 26-meter-wide curved giant screen). The technology also affirmed by the great director Ang Lee, and has been assigned as a must screen for the first round of the 3D movies he shoots. It has also been specified by some major movie theaters around the world to install this screen in large quantities.

The small size Ultimate Screen for home application also available in present time. It can realize the dual benefits of playing 2D and 3D movies at home with one screen. Due to its high brightness, it can also resist ambient light, and consume less energy under the space with same brightness.

The mini Ultimate Screen for home theater application provides excellent image quality for playing playing 3D movies. The surface structure of this screen has absolute excellent reflectivity due to the usage of metal layer. In comparison to the reflectivity of a mirror with assuming reflection ratio of 100%, the reflectivity of this screen could achieve as high as 91%, which is very close to that of a mirror surface. Therefore, the brightness uniformity of the projected picture is high. Figure 5 up and bottom pictures show the comparison of the reflected brightness of other 3D screens and Ultimate Screen. We can find that the brightness uniformity of the ultimate screen is obviously much higher than that of other brands. Because of its high reflectivity, the delicacy of the film content is extremely high, and the high-resolution details, the ultra-high true frame rate 3D movies image can be fully expressed. Figures 6 and 7 show the comparison of a 3D image details and clarity of a Ultimate Screen and other sample. Figure 8 shows that the color saturation of the ultimate screen image (left) is much higher than that of other screens (right).
