The mechanism is that the positively charged nanometer metal ions adsorb each other after contacting the negatively charged single-cell microorganisms, and the cell wall is destroyed, causing the protein of the microorganisms to mutate and unable to reproduce, achieving the function of sterilization. According to current scientific statistics, a single type of antibiotic can only inhibit several types of bacteria, but nano-scale metals can kill hundreds of types of bacteria.
The antibacterial effect of nano-silver and nano-metals is also widely used in various industries, such as household, medical treatment, personal protection, cosmetics, transportation, food, etc. In the application, most of the nano-scale metal particles are mixed in the carrier for convenient use, such as paint, chemical raw materials, clothing, filter screen, packaging materials, etc.
